Experience a lodge-based spring black bear hunt as bears emerge from their winter dens on the edge of Montana's Bob Marshall Wilderness in the Spotted Bear Ranger District. Our hunts focus on avalanche slides and gated roads where bears feed on fresh green grass and glacier lilies during their post-hibernation period. 5-day Fall Black Bear Hunts
Pursue black bears during Montana's fall season, where our hunting territory offers opportunities from September 15th through the end of general rifle season. Our guides provide years of experience to track bears during their pre-hibernation feeding period, when they're most active. These fall hunts provide a hunting experience on the boundary of Bob Marshall Wilderness, with the chance to harvest bears of various color phases.
